What you will do is a lot of shape matching to earn coins to buy furniture or do repairs and then read a lot of dialogue. Those ads will lead you to believe this is a fun game where you solve puzzles or decided which tool to use to fix a problem, in reality you will rarely do that. If you played Angry Birds recently you will know this game and the several other games just like it from the ads.
